Robyn Rihanna Fenty was a little child in Barbados who was mesmerised by her mother's lipstick before becoming the BadGalRiRi: music, fashion, and beauty phenomenon. She never looked back after trying cosmetics for the first time. In order to reflect her ever-changing mood, makeup became her go-to tool. It also fueled a daring approach to beauty that helped her develop into the boundary-pushing icon she is today.

After years of trying with the finest of the best in beauty, Rihanna was motivated to launch Fenty Beauty because she continued to notice a need in the market for products that worked well on all skin tones and kinds. She created a cosmetics collection "so that everyone would be included," concentrating on a variety of typically difficult-to-match skin tones, developing formulations for all skin types, and identifying common colours. In order to "make skin seem like skin," Fenty Beauty products are intended to be lightweight while providing buildable coverage that layers easily.
