Jurlique is a naturopathic clinic founded by chemist Dr. Jurgen Klein and his botanist and horticulture wife Ulrike Klein. They created a school and business in northern Germany and spent a long time researching natural cosmetics and health supplements. They came to the conclusion that natural cosmetics must have "pure plants" as basic components. Therefore, they proceeded on a global search for "pure earth." Ultimately, in 1983, they left Germany to establish a herb farm in the Adelaide Hills of southern Australia. Jurlique's herbs and plants are grown in healthy soil using pesticide-free, organic methods and have abundant life and rich aroma.
